    Highly recommend this course

I attended the Lime Pointing Course on Saturday August 31st 2024 and it was fantastic. Phil did a great presentation about the more technical aspects of lime itself and then we got to have a go on the training wall. Several styles of built wall available to practice on, and one was exactly like mine, 1806 granite cottage, so I was straight in there. I was pleased to see I wasn’t the only woman. There were 4 women in the group. Everyone was very helpful and shared stories of their properties undergoing renovation. I had been nervous that I wouldn’t be able to do it, but soon realised that I could. Left with enthusiasm and confidence to tackle my wall. A great course and worth every penny. Thank you all.

While lime or lime-based products may seem intimidating initially, gaining a solid grasp of how and why lime works, combined with patience and persistence, will help you build skill and confidence. Many find lime pointing quite rewarding, especially when applying what they have learnt at home.

Remember, practice is key to mastering any skill. While we can provide a solid introduction to pointing with lime, refining these skills will require a bit of patience and practice.
