The day is a masterclass with opportunities to question us on various aspects of rendering and plastering with lime (it’s not a practical introduction to plastering – our Lime Course would be more appropriate for this purpose.)
Sean Wheatley is a time served plasterer and has been practicing his craft for 35 years across all manner of materials, but now specialising in lime plastering both flat and decorative work. Sean has been rightfully recognised as one of the best in the business, having been awarded two years running, in 2013 and 2014 for his exemplary work on historic plaster ceilings in the region, by the AIS FPDC for Internal plasterwork.
The day will run from 9.00 until mid to late afternoon and will include lunch and refreshments throughout the day with comprehensive technical advice sheets loaded onto a data stick along with handouts for those less digitally minded. Cornish Lime is delighted that Sean has agreed to take over this role from Viv Stratton who has conducted our Lime Plastering days since 2013. No previous experience is necessary and we provide a buffet lunch, tea, coffee and refreshments during the day. All delegates receive a comprehensive literature pack, a basic safety pack and support and assistance once they undertake their project.
