Chrome vanadium steel scutch combs for preparing stone or masonry and removing old mortar. It is recommended that the scutch comb is the same size as the holder that it is fitted into.

Using scutch combs can be safer when working with masonry as the shape will transfer less energy into the masonry unit, which will cause less potential damage to the unit.

With 30+ years of experience, Faithfull is one of the top hand tools brands in the UK and Ireland, with quality products manufactured to tradesperson standards at competitive prices.

When working with masonry, scutch combs can provide a safer approach, as their shape minimises energy transfer into the masonry unit, reducing the potential for damage.
