We supply a range of Churn Brushes for different applications.

Our D1BM is our best selling churn brush. The bristles are a bahia/polyester mixture, creating a good balance between toughness and durability. Some of it’s features include:

  • 12” curved handle masonry brush for professionals
  • Filled with top quality Bahia/Bassine mixed bristles
  • May be used with boiling water
  • Easy grip non slip handle with chisel pointed bristle shape
  • Tough, effective, made to last

This brush is the business when it comes to building and masonry work, it is resilient, holds its shape well, holds water well, doesn’t easily crush out of shape and is easy to hold. It is used by professional builders, restoration and masonry specialists everywhere.

Our D8M Long Handle Churn Brush is similar with a Bahia/Bassine mixture. The long handle is more suited for hard to reach jobs or when working on large areas.

Our D1P Polyester Churn Brush is made up fully of polyester bristles. These are softer then then other churn brushes, which can be more suitable when working with very fragile backgrounds.

Churn brushes have a wide range of uses, but they are particularly important when pointing. Read our Lime Mortars for Pointing guide for more information.
