Cornish Lime have always recognised the importance of the role of sand in a lime mortar or render, and whether building, pointing, rendering, matching historic mortars or achieving a certain finish, the suitability of the mortar ultimately depends on the suitability of the sand used.

Sands and aggregates are natural products and their colour can vary from batch to batch. We strongly advise that you purchase sufficient material to avoid any inconsistency in colour.

With over 500 tonnes available for immediate delivery from our extensive range of over 50 stock sands and blends sourced from across the country, our sands have been specifically selected for their mortar properties, colours or texture.
