Similar to the traditional material known as Roman Cement, a rapid-setting binder used extensively around the UK and Europe in the 1800’s & 1900’s for classical facade decoration, The Natural Plaster Company In-situ Running Render range is a binder-rich blend of natural cement, fibres, pigments and well graded sands.
Heavily reinforced with fibres and coarse sand, the Casting Blend was formulated specifically for the reproduction and repair of decorative casting elements such as cornices and mouldings.

They’ve taken their decades of hands-on experience to develop this purpose-tailored range of running renders, perfect for running moulds and casting decorative plaster elements.
The Natural Plaster Company In-situ Running Render range sets very quickly, therefore it’s always advised to use it in conjunction with a Vicat Prompt Tempo.
Suitable for use with latex, silicone, or polyurethane rubber mould types, and compatible with release agents such as liquid soap, petroleum jelly, or most commercial release sprays. Best suited to silicone rubber moulds.
You should be able to carefully demould your castings in approximately 30 minutes.
Environmental conditions and the curing process will affect the final colour achieved.
Use within four months of the date of manufacture, as indicated by the first five digits of the date code.

Do not use in temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C, or if freezing conditions are predicted within the following few weeks, including wind chill. We always advise following best practices for curing and protecting fresh lime renders and plasters. Protect from adverse environmental conditions, including frost, rain, direct sunlight and drying winds.
