Adaptivate Breathaplasta Smooth is a fine, lime-based finishing plaster, designed as a super-smooth final surface, to be applied directly onto plasterboard or to overcoat existing plaster surfaces.
Ideal for use as a topcoat finishing plaster for most internal walls and ceilings, typically applied as the skim finish to a lime plaster system.
In addition, Adapatavate Breathaplasta Smooth can be applied over old lime plaster walls and ceilings, making it an ideal choice for renovating older buildings.
Adaptavates Breathaplasta range consists of high-quality, easy-to-use, moisture-regulating plasters. Designed with people, buildings and the planet in mind, they contain no Portland cement, gypsum or synthetics.

Use to skim over existing lime-based plaster or as part of a new plaster system in modern and traditional construction. Use on walls and ceilings.
Suitable for direct application to standard plasterboard as a two-coat thin skim finish. Primer should be applied to all specialist plasterboard before plastering.
Apply as the final surface finish to Adaptavate products, including Breathaplasta Thermal or Breathaplasta Universal. Also suitable for overskimming existing mineral plaster surfaces.

Do not use in temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C, or if freezing conditions are predicted within the following few weeks, including wind chill. We always advise following best practices for curing and protecting fresh lime renders and plasters. Protect from adverse environmental conditions, including frost, rain, direct sunlight and drying winds.
