Beeck Renosil Coarse

Area of Use

Suitable for use on lime or cement render, concrete, brick, stone, and sound existing paint, which is well adhered to the surface and free of peeling, flaking or dusting.

Application

Always prepare the background substrate before application, removing any biological materials, contaminants or loose materials. Before application, add 10% undiluted Beeck Fixative into the Beeck Renosil Coarse paint and stir thoroughly.

If a lime render or limewash background features lime deposits or lime bloom or bleed, we advise applying Beeck Etching Fluid to clean the surface before applying Beeck Renosil Coarse.

Absorbent mineral surfaces, such as bare lime or cement render or previously limewashed backgrounds, should be primed with Beeck Fixative before application to assist with suction and aid in a successful chemical bond between background and paint.

Once the Beeck Renosil Coarse has been applied and has thoroughly dried, proceed with Beeck Renosil Fine as the topcoat.

Allow a minimum of 12 hours of drying time between coats. Do not use in adverse weather conditions, including frost, rain, intense heat, or extreme sunshine. The minimum application temperature is 8°C. Do not use in the presence of salts.
