Beeck Beeckosil Fine
Beeck Beeckosil Fine is a vapour-permeable active silicate paint for external façades. Breathable, and durable with a timeless finish on exposed builds. Perfect for mineral substrates.
Price range: £5.30 through £530.00
A highly durable mineral paint for application onto new unpainted, external lime rendered façades, renowned for its silicification. A hard-wearing paint, even in harsh, exposed conditions, Beeckosil Fine has exceptional longevity, making this investment product an economical choice for both conservation projects and contemporary architecture. Its mineral profile provides a timeless aesthetic quality, while ensuring maximum colour stability across all shades.
With a standout feature of extreme water vapour permeability, Beeckosil Fine is an excellent choice for mineral substrates like lime and cement renders, concrete, brick, and calcium silicate masonry. Due to its natural alkalinity, lack of organic material and unique BEECK ASF® Active Silicate Formulation, this paint is perfect for high-traffic outdoor areas that face the elements.
Active Silicate Formulation (ASF), gives the paint a permanent silicate-to-silicate bond with the substrate. The paint etches into, and becomes part of the substrate, acting like a dye, meaning that the time between reapplications are far greater than off-the-shelf alternatives.
If your background exhibits imperfections such as hairline cracks or unevenness, applying a basecoat of Beeckosil Course can help fill and mask those issues before using Beckosil Fine.

Suitable for external use. Beeckosil Fine is suitable for various mineral substrates, including lime and cement renders, concrete, brick, and calcium silicate masonry. It is recommended for both historical conservation projects and modern architectural applications, and was created with hard-working surfaces in mind. The paint offers approximately 0.12L coverage per square metre and is available in 1L, 5L, and 12.5L volumes.
During application, ensure surfaces not intended for treatment are covered, and personal protective equipment is worn. Avoid using Beeckosil Fine in wet conditions, risk of frost, on hot surfaces, or in direct sunlight. The minimum application temperature is +8°C, with each coat requiring at least 12 hours to dry. Protect fresh coats from rain and direct sunlight, utilising scaffolding sheeting if necessary.
Care should be taken to avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing, as well as inhalation of vapours, spray-mist, and dust. The product’s alkaline nature necessitates caution, and it should be kept out of reach of children.
