Beeck Beeckosil Coarse
A slurry primer and intermediate coat with BEECK ASF® Active Silicate Formulation. Bridges hairline cracks, levels surfaces, and primes for lasting protection. Available in 8kg and 20kg.
Price range: £75.79 through £530.00
Beeck Beeckosil Course is a levelling primer and intermediate coat for façades, porous natural stone, brick, and concrete. It is especially effective on substrates with hairline cracks, minor defects, or mineral coatings. An extremely vapour permeable paint with exceptional longevity due to its BEECK ASF® Active Silicate Formulation, this investment product forms a chemical bond, ensuring long-lasting coverage.
This one-pack silicate system has a texture grain of 0.4 mm, delivering a smooth finish while effectively bridging over imperfections and levelling surfaces. Due to silicification, applying Beeckosil Course results in a stable, breathable coating that allows moisture to pass through the building, making it ideal for both historical and contemporary buildings.
Used as a course basecoat for external façades, Beeck Beeckosil Course masks imperfections, and levels underlying layers of existing paint. Due to its extreme durability, it is ideal for high-traffic buildings.

Suitable for external use. Beeck Beeckosil Coarse is suitable for use on a range of mineral substrates, including rendered façades, porous natural stone, brick, and concrete. It is an ideal levelling primer and intermediate coating, particularly on surfaces with minor structural defects or existing mineral coatings.
The recommended application rate is approximately 0.24 kg per square metre on smooth substrates, with variations depending on surface texture. It is available in 8 kg and 20 kg containers.
During application, ensure thorough coverage while protecting adjacent surfaces such as glass, ceramics, and lacquers. Immediate removal of splashes with water is advised. The product should be kept out of reach of children, and personal protective equipment should be worn due to the product’s alkaline nature. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing, and avoid inhaling vapours, spray mist, or dust.
For optimal results, conducting an on-site test area is recommended to determine the specific application rate required, especially on rough cast renders. Beeck Etching Fluid and Beeck Fixative often complement Beeck Beeckosil Coarse for a comprehensive and durable coating system.
