Used In Conjunction With

Suitable for internal and external use for dissolving or removing emulsion and latex paints, acrylates, plastic plasters, glazes, beer glazes, adhesives for glass fibre fabrics or similar and PU foam.

Suitable substrates for application include wood, metals, mineral and solvent-resistant substrates, mineral plasters, natural stone and concrete. We recommend Scheidel Asur to remove lacquers applied to wood or metal.

Schiedel SG94 can be applied with an airless applicator, brush, trowel, roller, spatula, or trowel. Always apply Schiedel SG94 from the bottom or base upwards. Exposure time should be at least 30 minutes up to several hours, possibly overnight or longer under protection. Test the surface to determine the optimal exposure time.

Coverage is approximately 250ml / m² but will vary depending on the background surface, absorption and application method. Material consumption can range from min. 300 ml/m² to 2000 ml/m².

Apply to a test area to estimate the coverage relevant to your project. Always test large areas in different locations to determine the coating structure and dissolution process. Before a new coating is applied, ensure all solvents have evaporated and the background substrate is dry.

Do not use in temperatures below 10°C. Damp substrates, highly absorbent substrates, rain, draughts, and cold environmental temperatures can disturb removal. Ensure adequate ventilation when working indoors and wear appropriate PPE. Browse our range of tools and PPE to get started.

For external applications, Schiedel Ultrafix can be used as a concentrated cleaner after the paint removal application.

Always read the available datasheets and guidance before use.

Each project is unique, always seek professional advice before undertaking a project.
