D/2 Biological Solution is a non-hazardous and biodegradable cleaning solution for removing harmful and unsightly biological and air pollutants from masonry and architectural surfaces, including render, coloured render, concrete, brick, cast stone, aluminium, vinyl sliding, canvas and wood.
Developed by conservators familiar with the damage caused by inappropriate cleaners containing acids or salts, D/2 Biological Solution was designed to preserve and protect masonry materials like natural stone, brick and render.

Always consider the building fabric and time of year before undertaking a cleaning project. When using the Faithfull 2-Litre Pressure Sprayer to apply D/2 Biological Solution, keep a reasonable distance from the masonry, using the hand-held sprayer to lightly distribute the D/2 Biological Solution whilst cautiously avoiding unnecessary excessive pressure that could damage render, stone, lime pointing or paint.
Apply the D/2 Biological Solution using the Immediate Result Method detailed below.
A contact time of 10 to 15 minutes followed by scrubbing with the Hillbrush brushes will loosen most biological and air pollutant staining. Use the Hillbrush Polypropylene Scrapper for any larger biological materials on smooth surfaces. For smaller areas or the nooks and crannies, use the Hillbrush Polypropylene Niche Brush. D/2 Biological Solution works with the elements, so results may continue to develop over 2-3 days.
