Hello we have to paint the inside of a externally rendered single skin blockwork garage to cover up unsightly efflorescence marks. This is what the surveyor has asked for “painting the internal blockwork with a fully breathable paint that has an SD-0.01 breathable rating and is naturally alkaline so will offer mould resistance qualities. It must also be wet-scrub resistant and must be compatible with concrete blocks and efflorescence salts.”
please could you help
Thank you for getting in touch. Our Beeck Maxil Pro is the paint we would suggest you choose. It offers all the things that you require except that when a breathable paint is applied it can pull moisture through the substrate and potentially this may draw salts through also.
