Grade II, Country house in Mylor. Rebuilt in 1891 to a design by Hicks.
Issues:
South Facing wall of Trefusis House had substantial water ingress through the granite stone.
Solutions and Materials:
Removal of moss and ivy growth from the facade.
Algae/fungicide treatment was then carried out to neutralise and remove any further growth and to give a clean surface, any lose material removed to allow adequate penetration of product into the porous rock and mortars.
Inspection for any cracks and repaired prior to work carried out. Application of Beeck SP Plus using a conventional gravity fed spray gun with a 1.8 tip.
