Visited Cornish Lime this past weekend to purchase some lime mortar for a scratch pointing job on an old fire party wall in my loft. My wife and I bought an 1800's Cornish cottage last year and have found ourselves in a position where we need to renovate. After having a consultancy carried out with another Cornish consultant and a recommendation from a colleague of mine, I got in contact with Cornish Lime for advice on products that would work well with our granite property.Adam and several other colleagues have been very helpful so far with advice on construction, materials, and even loading my car. I've bought a few of their products, including insulated celenit board and walling mortar, which seem to be great quality.

Very very helpful nice people. They seem to stock everything and all the builders merchants in Penzance recommend them and get their supplies from them. I am a DIY amateur and have never used lime plaster, but with their help, plus their supplies and tools and about 3 telephone calls to them (and YouTube) I have managed to lime plaster a rough granite wall with an acceptable (I think) smooth result suitable for painting in a while.
