Damp to internal walls

Posted By: Jay

Unsure as what to do. We have a solid hardwood flooring and investigation says there are no leaks. We been told it's rising damp but other professionals have said it's due to condensation. Not sure how to solve problem. Visible salt on chimney breast and low level water patches on other walls

    Hi Jay

Are you able to tell me more about the problem? The construction type, the materials used within the construction (i.e. stone, brick), whether any coatings are present internally and externally (render/plaster) and what these coatings comprise of?
