Properties and Benefits: Greystone is a very attractive and hard wearing, sub-angular, grey/ green aggregate. It is formed from volcanic ash that has been compressed to form the dense rock that we see now (known as a Tuff). The greenish colouring comes from the Chlorite within the rock. There are also some nice quartz fragments amongst the aggregate from veins that have developed within the rock. This adds a nice bit of variation to the chippings and highlights the other colours present. Ideal for drive ways, footpaths, pots, rockery and planted areas. Approximate coverage of 20m2 per tonne at 25mm (1 inch) thick. This product has been photographed in a wet condition. All aggregate images have been taken from the same height for comparison purposes.
